My teenagers are so amazing to watch. I often wonder if my parents took the time to watch my brothers and sisters as I do my own children. It is something to see as they figure their way in the world. Even though everything that has happened to them has happened to everyone else it is as though it is happening for the first time on earth. I feel very fortunate that I have the opportunity to watch these creatures in action! They have little texting messages going back and forth with each other constantly. They use initials to stand for words and sometimes entire statements. I saw the letters gswf on my computer in an email. i asked my son had he ever heard of these letters together and what they stood for. He said that it was a GE refrigerator water filter! I was so amazed at how he knew that. I had told everyone how smart he was to have known that. That night at dinner I brought it up again how amazing that was he knew that. He said that he had to tell me something. He had seen it earlier on the computer and looked it up! At this moment I thought that I was watching their antics now I am not so sure they are not watching mine.
