While scanning the Internet over different ways of performing a unity ceremony I came across one that was interesting and thought provoking. If you have ever been married before, you know that you don’t just marry the husband or wife, but their family almost always has a large input into your relationship. This is in many instances a sad but true statement. In certain cultures, if the family does not like your choice partner, the wedding will not take place. Here in the United States that seems a little far fetched, but perhaps we should consider that if the family does not like them, we all know the conflicts that are in store for us in the future.
