Now that the economy seems to be going down the tubes, the applications at college graduate schools are increasing from years past. Also the electronic jobs site have been increasing with new resumes and updates to existing ones. It is kinda depressing reading the business news everyday, there are companies reducing their work force by the thousands. This affects many more thousands including family and friends. The technology seems to still be hiring. I viewed the lates Jobs in Techology, there seems to hundreds of available jobs in technology. Technology is a weird job industry, the need stays large for years, then for a year you cannot find one. It looks like that cycle has changed and it seems the technlogy jobs have holding pretty stead as of late.

NABB IT.
Do you listen to the Radio? Ever wish you could remember the name and perform of that song. There is a new application that will answer your questions about the songs playing on the radio, in real time. That is cool. Grab Nabbit, Nabbit is a application for your phone. You can add your favorite Radio stations via Nabbit, you are all set.
The next time an artist or song comes on the radio check Nabbit and get title and lyrics. With your phone you will able to check a song by sending a text message “nabb” along with the call letters of the radio staion. The Nabb software will get you the info on the song. That is cool I would definitly use this service. Rock On.

The carbon based life forms and computers both depend on memory. Life-forms use memory to do most every activity that is done on a daily basis, if were not for your memory then you would start every day like a new born baby because you had no memory of doing anything. Now on the computer side, the harddrive store the computer data or like carbon based life memory, but computers use their memory like a working chalk board, you do what you need to do in the memory then when you are through you erase the computer memory of the hardware or software task and start over to the next project with a clear working area or clean slate. As we get older and as the computer gets older You can do with a memory upgrade and get a new lease on life.

Finding office space when setting up a remote location can be a little time consuming finding the right location for business. Commercial sites need to fit the need of business in reguards to rent/buy rate, site location, parking, amount of space and if room for future growth. I have resently dealt with Austin Office Space in Austin, Texas. Austin has been a growing town for the last several years. Austin is also the home of University of Texas. The warehouse in question was being transferred to another location, so we had to sell it quickly. It took a few months be we were lucky to sell it. When looking for Office space, commercial space, or industrial space in Austin there is a unique service provided by Don Cox Company. The Cox Company provides finding space for your business. They will work to negotiate the best lease price, sublease or purchase agreement for your company. Now where were they before when I was looking in Austin for a location? This is the kind of service that business needs, lets you run your business while you have someone help you expand by finding you the right location for your next business expansion. Time is money.

For years there has been a fight to filter content by parents on what and what -not your children are allowed to access on the internet. This is a good thing because they are young and impressionable have many years as adults to deal with adult matters. The folks at PikLuk have developed a Web browser. The PikLuk browser projects gives parents the ability to locally or remotely control what it is their children can see. Yes this is what every parent with young children has been looking for. Any websites that you as a parent would deem suitable for their kids’ exploration can be designated as safe. You can even set restrictions on email correspondence. This is like the holy grail of internet protection. PikLuk browser is strictly safety and simplicity are first and foremost and geared for the youngest of internet users. This takes off the stress of you to have to monitor your child’s Web usage every moment that they are connected.

A while back we had a tornado come through, it knocked down a bunch of trees, three landed on the house splitting one wall off of the house. The tornado was not too bad, it was the rain afterward that caused lots of issues. The water flooded the main floor. Had to replace the carpet and flooring. This is the kind of issue when you need to have a water restoration outfit cleanup after the fact. Some Water Restoration companies like Water Restoration 911. They have 24/7 emergency service that perform flood water damage cleanup, sewage extraction, carpet and floor drying along with dehumidify HEPA compliant filtration to removing possible spores that grow mold. Some top Scientists have come out and stated that they has discovered what actually makes the Northern Lights appear to dance in the sky the Alaska sky. For many years the aurora boreales has been a mystery to scientist and non-science communities alike. Now scientists have managed to use satellites, along with ground observation to catch the beginning of a magnetic storm that took place 80K miles from our Earth finding the the storm caused by a magnetic reconnection.
When the southern lights reach its limit its energy will jumps backwards that causes energy to be released similar to an earthquake. That is pretty cool. I even like watching them.

As of today, my children are teenagers. Whenever you go shopping for any thing related to babies, I have noticed that the costs in new born products are so much cheaper that just ten or eleven years ago. We had to buy a baby bottle for a puppy we are raising, everything in the baby section was just about every product was one dollar or close to that number. All the crib bedding, clothing, furniture and even the strollers have come along way with improved products and very cheaper prices. This is great news for all the current parents of new born children. Kind-a makes you think about another. Hmmmmm
Victims from the Economy

If you are like me and been around awhile, when the economy goes down some jobs go away. This type of unemployment is not your fault is just a cost cutting method that companies go through to maintain profitable. But this does not matter to you when you are part of the massive unemployment rate the nation faces today. I have lived it many years back during the 9/11 year. It was not fun, most jobs do not pay what you were used to makeing. You have to take on two jobs to make the ends meat. Not fun. You have no life but work. No blogging or spending times on forums or twittering. I can feel for those that are out of the work force. The advice I have is to keep plugging away in many different avenues of generating job leads and push them until you find another job. The employment is there you will have to network to find it. Internet and computer job boards are good, but when you are in a hurry to find a job you need to be face to face with an employer, this has always worked for me.
Good Luck

I have noticed over the years with computers that I buy all start out working well, then progressively getting slower. It does not matter how many times you defrag, the computer gets slower. The one way I found to extend their working business live to install more computer memory. By adding this memory it enables the browser software and internet software work at a more rapid pace. And speed is what it is all about. With the new version of Windows coming in 2009 do you think the 2GB and 4GB memory that todays computer with work well with the new windows. My guess would be NOT. That way they can keep the memory folks in business.

Now that the iPhone has been out for awhile, even with an upgrade 3GB version that the people that bought the first time, bought it again. The big push now is to get an unlocked phone. Once your phone is unlocked then you can utilize other services and other software. I think from a phone stand point this hacking into a phone is getting kind of rediculous from the stand point of almost insanity. With electronic manufactures knowing the equipment can be hacked into and changed, this is why the ones of us that do not hack into phones suffer. We are reduced on phone options do to hacking mess. Time to go watch my cable TV, little fuzzy today, then you cannot complain when it is free :).

Now that it is Fall it is Spring again

Not sure why but whenever the seasons change it is time to change something about the house. Go figure. Now that Fall is in full force, it is time to change the inside and clean out some stuff, aka Spring cleaning. I do not mind cleaning, but to do it at ever change of the season. We have been storing toys, clothes, baby bedding, various other baby items, magazines and a ton of other merchandise designated as keepsake items. Shifting these items to the barn is not the problem, the problem is the barn is packed to the ceiling and it will not take anymore. At somepoint stuff needs to be give-a-away or get-rid-of stuff. :) Maybe one day
When the clothes get tight

When I buy clothes I buy them to fit. I will spend alot of time to find the clothes that I want and size them to fit. When every we put on a few extra pounds. At this stage some of us will start working out, using weight loss pills, changing our diets or a combination of all. This mix can help in the short run but focus on the exercise would be the best action. I guess I better get started.
