It is spring and we are going through drawers to put up our winter clothes and in goes the summer ones. As we pulled out last years Halloween costume it just brings back how much fun it was. My wife has saved all of our childrens Costumes through the years from plays to trick or treating and an occasional costume party. We love to look at them every so often with the kids. They get a kick out of how much they have grown. For my wife and myself it is both a fun thing to think of all the fun and a sad reminder of how fast out little ones are becoming adults. One of the reminders of their growth was that my son who has always worn a Boys Halloween Costumes now wears an adult size. He could easily play football with his strength and agility. Our daughters have outgrown their Girls Halloween Costumes themselves as they have grown into young women. It seems they are growing like weeds around us. As we pack up the princesses and ninjas it has occured to us that we need to get a a bigger storage container because we still have more memories to add to it. As we all know there is another Halloween coming.

Our neighbors all got together and decided that it would be fun to have a block party where everyone is dressed up in costumes. There are so many kids on our street that when word got around it got bigger and bigger. By the time the event got here it was more like a carnival with wagon rides and tracter pulls as well as hot dogs and hamburgers. It was so much fun and the kids loved it and I have to admit so did the adults. There were so many kinds of Boys Halloween Costumes as well as Girls Halloween Costumes running around. We had thought that we would have trouble finding a costume for our oldest daughter but that was not the case. She wanted to be a pirate and amazingly we found one. There are actually so many choices of characters and sizes of costumes, halloween or other types online these days. I expected to see the Halloween Costumes that we had seen in Ocrober but there were many different ones. To watch all the Cinderellas playing with all the Darth Vaders was hillarious. This is definately something that we will do again. The kids have not stopped talking about it. We certainly made some memories.
